KÖSTER VAP 2000 After shot blasting, the substrate needs to be vacuumed.

The floor is ready for the application of KÖSTER VAP 2000. The KÖSTER VAP 2000 vapor barrier is installed.

The final floor: KÖSTER EM-VS coating is applied in two layers.

Kuvaus	The old epoxy flooring detached from the floor due to osmotic action. To achieve a strong bonding between the new coating and the old substrate, the floor was shotblasted and vacuumed. Then KÖSTER VAP 2000 was applied with approx. 0,5 kg/m²., then two layers of EM-VS in a custom color (RAL 7000) , with silica sand (0.3) between the layers. The final consumption was approx. 0,6 kg/m², The products cured for 4 days before re-installing the machinery and facility equipment.
